Shady Camp, located along Point Stuart Road, 150 kilometres east of Darwin, is a popular spot for anglers, with a boat ramp onto the lower reaches of the Mary River. The viewing platform across the Mary River floodplain allows travellers to observe the abundant wildlife of the area, including awesome saltwater crocodiles.
